Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated my 26th birthday this past weekend(or as my preschoolers told me my 50th.) We had a lot of fun at my favorite restaurant Third and Hollywood with some of our family and friends! My partner in crime Amelia and I are a day apart and have celebrated our birthdays together many times over the past twelve years. It was great to be able to celebrate another year together now that she's moved to cbus!

Imagination Gala

This past weekend we were invited to attend the Imagination Gala down at Cosi. The benefit was to help raise money so that families in need could experience the science museum at no cost. We had a great time especially knowing it was for such a great cause!

We are loving life and adjusting well to our new home! I still don't have a picture of the front of the house and now that winter finally decided to make it's way to Columbus (currently 16 degrees out) I may have to wait a few more days to get that picture! Here's are a few shots I did take...

Our first party

I couldn't be happier in our new house and was even more thrilled to host our first party for the superbowl! So here I was up at 7am happy as a clam with all my new cooking gear!! It's great to finally be able to have all our friends over (and have a place for them to sit)! Per usual we had more then enough food...great recipes to come soon! We stuffed our faces, ranked our favorite commercials, and judged Madonna's halftime show...oh yeah and we watched a little football too!

We've Moved!

This past weekend we moved into our new house in Galena! It is quite a change from Clintonville and we could not be more excited for this new adventure! It was a great weekend surrounded by lots of family and friends who were gracious enough to help us with the move! I FINALLY got to enjoy all our awesome wedding presents! I learned I never need to buy another kitchen item for the rest of my life!!! House pictures will be posted soon!

This past weekend my college girlfriends all got together here in Columbus to celebrate Bridget and Marcus' engagement! We had a great time reminiscing about all the embarrassing fun times we shared together at Dayton! We don't always get to see each other often, but when we're all together it's as if we haven't skipped a beat! Cheers to the troop!
